ATLANTIS

10 September - 6 November | Tivoli's Concert Hall

Denmark's greatest musical success arises again

In 2021, the Danish musical success Atlantis will be given new life, when Mikkel Rønnom and Tivoli present the largest set of the fabulous drama to date about Atlantis' greatness and downfall. It happens i.a. with Stig Rossen, Kaya Brüel, Pernille Petterson, and Jonas Rasmussen in the ensemble.

Atlantis had everything a hungry musical heart could ask for: heroes and villains, greatness and doom, love and jealousy - a magical adventure that takes place in fantastic songs with a large, top-notch orchestra and in visually sumptuous scenes.

NORDIC DARTS MASTERS

17 to 18 September | FORUM Copenhagen

The tournament consists of eight of the best players in the world, who face local qualifiers. Reigning world champions Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson, Rob Cross and Peter Wright are among the stars expected to take part in Copenhagen. The four singles have more than 100 darts titles and several world championships together and are the guarantor of lots of "180s" and maybe even one of the legendary 9-dart closures.

JAMIE CULLUM

26 September | DR Koncerthus

The critically acclaimed and world-famous songwriter, musician and modern crooner Jamie Cullum returns strongly in the concert hall with his extremely dance-friendly jazz-pop hybrid and successful interpretations of hits from e.g. Rihanna, Ed Sheeran and Ray Charles.

The English singer, entertainer and composer Jamie Cullum is one of today's best-selling chroniclers in pop, jazz and big band music.

With great respect for the jazz tradition and personal interpretations of modern classics, the 39-year-old Briton has become one of the heirs of this century after Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Billy Joel.

RHYTHM OF THE DANCE

29 September | Tivoli's Glassalen

The National Dance Company of Ireland, offers adventurous entertainment of the absolute highest class and professionalism in this new production of "Rhythm of the Dance".

"Rhythm of The Dance" had been on tour around the world for 22 years, making it the longest-running Irish dance show in the world. Success must not be mistaken !! Fans around the world make the hall roar as they clap and stomp their feet on the floor in time with the dancers to the Celtic music in a two-hour wonderful show.

The award-winning dancers steal most of the image and the audience's benefit, and are accompanied by the best live musicians and singers. It is without comparison magical, when they are counted in shape and choreographed to perfectionism, the feet move in the same way, excellent, fast and precise.

The musicians master many different instruments, including different flutes, guitars and drums. In addition to accompanying the dancers, they themselves occupy the entire stage and perform enchanting Celtic music.

MIDT OM NATTEN

30 September - 24 October | Tivoli's Concert Hall

One of the great musical successes of recent years, Midnight, is now returning.

The musical is topped, in addition to the many well-known hits from Midnight - correct hits from both Kim Larsen's and Gasolin's back catalog.

The musical, which contains a number of Kim Larsen's and Gasolin's biggest hits, was played in 2018 to full houses in Tivoli's concert hall and most of Denmark - and was seen by more than 150,000 enthusiastic audiences. Now the hit musical returns, and this time in a renewed version that is even closer to the original plot of the Danish cinema success. There is the possibility of a gripping reunion with Benny, Arnold, Daisies, Susan Sky Blue and all the other quirky existences from Haveje, just as a series of hits from the film that Paper Clips, Tik Tak and Midnight will once again sound from the stage.

The interest in the musical Midnight and Kim Larsen's and Gasolin's hits in the spring of 2018 was overwhelming all over the country. In Tivoli's concert hall alone, the performance was seen by 90,000 spectators. Many had to go in vain, and therefore there has been no shortage of invitations to put on the musical again.
