DANMARK - SPANIEN 12 October | Royal Arena The men's national team will take on three of the world's strongest national teams in the coming season, where the trip will once again pass by the Royal Arena. There is a lot to look forward to for the Danish handball fans in the coming season. The Danish Handball Association can now lift the veil on the fact that the men's national team will cross paths with both Spain, Germany, and Sweden on Danish soil. The match in the Royal Arena will be an important test for the handball men ahead of the WC defense in January. At the same time, it will be a good reunion with the arena, where Lasse Svan was celebrated earlier this year with a bang with a farewell match for full houses. The clash against Spain in the EHF EURO Cup will take place at the Royal Arena on 12 October this year. October | VEGA Irish rock quartet Kodaline specialize in radio-ready guitar rock and have been compared to bands such as Coldplay, Keane, U2 and Oasis. The group met in the working-class town of Swords and consists of Steve Garrigan, Vinnie May, Jr., Jason Boland and Mark Prendergast. They released their debut album In A Perfect World in 2013 with the singles "High Hopes" and "Love Like This". Since then, Kodaline has released three more albums Coming Up for Air (2015), Politics of Living (2018) and most recently One Day at a Time (2020). On One Day at a Time they returned to their roots. Most of their sessions were just the four band members alone in their modest recording space in Dublin, with bassist Jason Boland leading the production side of the process. Following the huge success of their latest studio album One Day At A Time, which has been streamed more than 300 million times, Kodaline announce that they are ready to hit the stage again for an extensive tour across Europe. The Cure 14 October | Royal Arena The Cure hardly requires much of an introduction. They are one of the few bands from the original post-punk wave from the late 1970s who are still active both live and on the record front, and who have never gone away! Earlier this year they were able to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of their third album 'Faith', which is also considered one of the band's masterpieces. On that occasion, Gaffa made a guide to the band's entire back catalogue, which can be read here. Briefly, the band was formed in Crawley, Sussex in England and played their first concert in 1978. To date they have played more than 1500 concerts, released 13 studio albums, several concert films, some live albums, and some soundtrack songs. In addition, they've released more than 40 singles, a couple of box sets, a couple of books, a Greatest Hits thing, a handful of cover songs, and other miscellaneous stuff. In 2019, they were inducted into the Rock'n'Rool Hall of Fame, and the band has had 13 members in the 42 years they have existed.
