Rick Astley

23.10 | Royal Arena

One of music history's most significant voices comes to Denmark with "Greatest Hits tour 2020". The announcement comes in the wake of the release of the album "The Best Of Me" which was released on October 25 with songs that span the entire career.

He was just twenty-one years old when he released the iconic "Never Gonna Give You Up" and few debut singles have had the same effect. The single instantly took residence on the charts, and the mega-hit became Britain's best-selling single in 1987 and went number one in 16 countries.

Rick Astley has left an indelible mark on pop culture since his appearance in the spotlight almost three decades ago. With well over 40 million records sold, and an enviable back catalog of chart-topping hits, Astley remains one of Britain's most successful soloists ever.

It is therefore with great pleasure that we can once again welcome Rick Astley to Denmark, and this time the audience can find their dancing shoes and look forward to a fantastic hit-packed evening in the Royal Arena.

Alanis Morisette

29.10 | Royal Arena

It is not often that we here at home are honored with visits from Alanis Morissette. Fortunately, Denmark is the first stop on the European part of the tour, when this year she celebrates the 25th anniversary of the release of the breakthrough album and one of the 90's great rock masterpieces "Jagged Little Pill".

Precisely "Jagged Little Pill" stands as a musical time image that both ends an era and begins a new one, and the huge hit "Ironic" is called the ironic 90s generation national anthem. One of Gaffa's reviewers wrote a few years ago about the album: "With Canadian Airlines' firefly came the queen of alt-rock anxiety, which Rolling Stone Magazine very aptly called Alanis, with uncompromisingly honest lyrics about faith, guilt, shame, doubt , oppression, alienation, anger, hatred, love and a little more anger. A concentrate of great, great songwriting art - so many words, opinions, so much existence squeezed into three minute long diary chapters. "

Since 1995, Alanis Morissette has been one of the most influential singers and songwriters of recent times. Her deep expressive music and performances have earned her immense acclaim from reviewers worldwide.

Supporting the Danish concert is the American singer-songwriter Liz Phair. Phair released his debut album "Exile in Guyville" in 1993, and the album has been hailed by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the 500 best albums ever. Liz Phair has sold close to three million records worldwide, and received two Grammy nominations.
