CPH: DOX works to become the best film festival in and for the world. It strives to realize the potential for change that art and documentary film has: to be the potential to change the social context, regardless of whether the subject is political, philosophical, experimental or simply illuminates a narrow part of the world. Documentaries always expand and counteract the recipient's perception of reality. The festival is centered around Konsthallen Charlottenborg, CPH: DOX's internationally acclaimed festival mansion, which houses everything from film screenings and concerts to international industry activities. The Charlottenborg Art Gallery also offers a less common cinema, a spectacular Virtual Reality cinema, a featured art exhibition, an interactive exhibition and several conversation and lounge areas. DYRENE I HAKKEBAKKESKOVEN TIVOLI Glassalen, 29. april - 16. maj Hakkebakke forest is full of different animals. The climbing mouse who loves music; Harepus, who bakes cakes; The weird teddy bear father; and the little Forest Mouse who just wants everyone to be good friends. The animals live in tolerability under the laws of the forest. But something threatens peace. Mikkel Ræv loves to eat his neighbors and only by keeping together - despite differences - can the other animals in the forest cope. The animals in Hakkebakkeskoven are about some of life's biggest themes: About keeping together, taking care of each other - and seeing the strength of our differences. But even though the themes are great, Pelle Koppel's set-up is playfully light, humorous, and full of small musical masterpieces. The animals in Hakkebakkeskoven are presented in collaboration with Teater V. PÅSKE I TIVOLI 27 MARS -> 5 APRIL Spring is on its way!
